During the COVID-19 pandemic, Blink moved its ConveyUX conference to an online event platform called Hopin (later, RingCentral). The platform could be challenging for conference speakers and hosts unfamiliar with it, especially when presenting a slide deck.
I developed checklist variants for our Blink team to use during technical pre-checks (tech checks) with each speaker and host. I also created the "Share Screen in Hopin" and the “Tips for RingCentral Expo” as quick reference aids for more technical aspects. Both the team and speakers responded enthusiastically to the job aids, which streamlined the tech check process.
